Announcing an important change to our monthly eblasts.

We have been told that our newsletters are simply too long and are not providing enough specific information about how people can get involved.

So going forward our beginning of month email (sent out on the 1st) will contain our newsletter, and will feature a topic for folks to think about. Our mid-month email (this one) will focus on the specific events taking place in the next 30 days. Folks who wish to find something to get involved in (and yes, there is lots to do and we most definitely need the help), are invited to join in at any of the listed events taking place.

Protect Kids California Petition Activities

We have begun gathering signatures to place an initiative on the 2024 ballot. The initiative, created by Protect Kids California, has three parts to it:

  1. Protect Children from Reproductive Harm - Pprevent child sterilization using puberty blockers, cross-sex hormones, or transgender surgeries. Recent polling suggests 75% of California voters agree minors should be protected from puberty blockers, crosssex hormones and transgender surgeries.
  2. School Transparency and Partnership - Require schools to notify parents when their child wants to socially transition. Recent polling suggests 68% of California voters support schools notifying parents of kids wanting to socially transition at school.
  3. Protect Girls Sports and Spaces - Make certain girls have fair competition by ensuring athletic programs for girls are kept to females. Recent polling suggests 64% of California voters agree student athletes should only play on sports teams matching their biological sex.
