The Truth About Youth, Education, Gender, and Wokeness

The woke crowd continues to try to dictate the meaning
of the words we use. Even more concerning, they wish to impose
serious consequences for "misusing" those words.
It is high time we acknowledge this for what it is:
the beginnings of tyranny. And as such, we must push back.
There are exactly two genders.
Yes, you heard me right. Exactly two. No more. And it needs to be stated loud and clear. The truth remains important, and when required must be fought for.
I can hear the retort from the woke crowd: "Why don't you educate yourself? Why don't you use correct pronouns? Are you transphobic? Have you no concerns over all of the gender confused children that will commit suicide if left in the wrong body? What about their feelings? Why would you not acknowledge their choices? Don't you understand that gender is merely a social construct? Aren't you interested in science? Why are you so closed minded? What's wrong with you?"
Let's spend some time addressing each of these topics.
Education: Today's Preferred Indoctrination Platform? The Elementary School
Our classrooms today, especially those for youngsters in grades K through 4, are actively working to instill confusion in the children and families they are supposed to be serving. Even more concerning, the education system appears to be working to drive a wedge between students and their parents, telling children that it is ok to keep information from their mom and dad, that it is their teacher who is looking after their best interest.
The implications are truly disturbing. We live in a state in which parents who refuse to accept their child's chosen pronouns or gender identity run the risk of having that child forcibly removed from the family by the state. Did you get that? Forcibly removed.
As an aside, in case you missed the fun at the Cupertino Unified School District meeting last Thursday (26-Sep-2024), a transgender elementary school teacher who allegedly discussed "sensitive gender identity topics" with 4-year-old students at the Dilworth Elementary School (which teaches a transitional kindergarten curriculum) was taken to task. Parents showed up at the meeting to argue that the teacher's actions were completely out-of-bounds. (Learn more about what took place at the CUSD meeting...).
Pronouns and Language: A Slippery Slope
The words we use (as well as the meaning we attach to those words) is vitally important. It has been said that he who controls language controls thought. That cannot be over emphasized.
A case in point. California has shifted away from using the word pupil in school documents, choosing instead to use the word student. Why exactly?
The word pupil comes from the Old French word “pupille”, derived from the Latin word “pupillus” which means “orphan, minor, or ward.” In otherwords, embedded within the meaning of the word pupil is the subtle notion of parental oversight. To be clear, pupils require guidance from an adult authority as they make their way through the learning system.

It becomes ugly and inaccurate because our thoughts are foolish, but the slovenliness of our language makes it easier for us to have foolish thoughts."

By contrast, the word student removes any recognition of parental involvement. Student is defined as a learner, a person who is enrolled in and attends classes at an educational institution. The word comes to us from the Middle English word “student” or “studiant”, which is itself from the Old French word “estudiant” meaning “one who studies.” Looking even further back, the word derives from the Latin “studium”, meaning simply “study.”.
So it is with what I refer to as the pronoun shuffle.
if someone wishes to identify as a raccoon or a smurf, there are some who will choose to play along with (and thereby feed into) that delusion. That ends up simply perpetuating the issue. I refuse to go along with that. If my senses tell me that you're a man, I will refer to you as he/him. If my senses tell me that you're a woman, I will refer to you as she/her. Doing anything else would be a perversion of what I understand to be true, and would make me complicit in a system that allows the pushing of a fallacy.
In the Bible, Revelation 21:8, states that the cowardly are condemned to hell along with murderers and sorcerers. The Greek word used, “deilia” (δειλία), implies fearfulness and timidity. Cowardice is described as a lack of courage to do difficult or dangerous things. Stand boldly for what is right.
Transphobia: Conform or Be Labeled
According to the LGBTQ-MNOP crowd, if you fail to play along with the pronoun lunacy, you are "noninclusive" and hence a clear part of the problem.
Let me be perfectly clear here: if you are over 18 years of age and wish to cut off and/or rearrange your body parts in an attempt to fool yourself and others into thinking you're now a person of the opposite sex, knock yourself out. You have reached an age where you take fulll responsibility for your actions.
Where a good many Californians have a serious problem (myself included) is with the idea that a child can somehow make life-altering, impactful decisions without their parents being notified about those decisions. That is wrong.
Suicide: What Happens When Children in the "Wrong Body" Don't Get Their Way?
Parents are being constantly told that they need to support their child's decision with regard to gender, lest the child become suicidal. But that's not what the evidence is showing.
First off, studies now confirm that most "gender confused" children grow out of their confusion by the time they turn 19. Girls who used to be labeled tomboys are now being told they're in the wrong body and should consider gender re-assignment.
But even more disturbing, the suicide rate for transgender women who end up receiving a vaginoplasty in California runs twice as high in the period after surgery as compared with the period prior to surgery. Meaning that our concerns have been misdirected by those with a certain political agenda. It's high time we take a step back and review the numbers once again.
California Protects a Child's Feelings and Choices Over Parental Rights
In July, California became the first state to bar school districts from requiring teachers and other school staff members from notifying parents of their child’s gender identity choices without the child's consent. By doing so, the California legislature has obliterated parental authority over their children. A good many parents are responding by pulling their kids out of the school system.
Also, in the state of California, therapists are forbidden by law from doing anything other than affirming a decision to transition. Let me say that again: it is against the law for someone who provides psychological therapy to offer a view other than one supportive of transitioning. Absolutely nuts.
Gender as a "Social Construct"
Men and women operate in different ways, supposedly because of expectations placed on them by the society in which an individual finds him/her self. Supposedly biological sex refers to an individual’s physical characteristics (chromosomes, hormones, and genitalia), where gender refers to the social and cultural construct that assigns individuals to masculine or feminine categories and activities.
Issue 1: Can someone determine their gender by preferring pink over blue or ballet over football? Such an idea assumes the very thing some are trying to deny. How can one claim to have an innate gender identity if gender is socially constructed?
Issue 2: Gender is supposedly a social construct, not an individual construct. Gender norms are partially constructed. That’s why gender norms change from one culture to the next. Society
establishes the rules, not the individual. You no more get to choose your gender than you do your race, your height, your species, or other intrinsic qualities. So what are the agreed-upon social means and mechanisms by which society assigns gender to people? A key question, don't you think?
Issue 3 (and this one takes the cake): If gender is a social construct, then the category of “transgender” must also be a social construct. And, if transgenderism is socially constructed, then society can construct transgender people based on society’s understanding of gender stereotypes. Ain't logic grand?
What Does the Science Have To Say?
Science is a wonderful thing. It doesn't care about feelings or emotions. It cares about facts.
Exhibit A.
Forensic science involves the application of scientific principles and methods to support decisions in matters of the law.
Through forensics, one can determine whether a person is male or female by simply reviewing the skelletal remains of long deceased individuals.
These established differences form the basis for the divide between men's and women's sports.
Exhibit B
Differences in the structure and function of the brains of boys and girls clearly seem to support the natural differences in behavior between the groups, differences that break along gender lines. Those differences serve to explain the observed behaviors noted by both parents and teachers.
A report published in the Journal of Personality and Social Psychology has found that behavior and personality traits generally break along gender lines, and they do the same in a number of different cultures. For the study some 26 cultures were analyzed, including here in the U.S., in Europe, and in Asia. According to the study, women value themselves more on the basis of 'agreeableness' and 'openness to feelings'. Men, on the other hand, rate themselves higher in terms of assertiveness. Interestingly (and running counter to the whole "social construct theory", these differences showed up most strongly within the American and European cultures, despite their latest push towards "wokeness".
In his report, Gender Differences in Personality: a Meta-Analysis, Alan Feingold takes further note of some other gender differences. Girls put higher demands on themselves and are more critical of themselves and their work. Girls also get better grades in school (across subjects and age groups), but are generally less confident about their abilities. Boys, on the other hand, tend to exhibit much higher self-esteem.
If You Don't Conform to the Wokeness, You Are the Problem
The real issue here? Who is speaking truth? Not your truth. Not my truth. The truth.
This question does presuppose the existence of an absolute, objective truth. And that, dear reader, goes well beyond the subject and scope of this article. So let's stipulate for now that there is such a thing as absolute truth.
The question then boils down to this: can we know what the truth is?
Perhaps. Perhaps not. But for the record I will say this: when contending within the arena of ideas, I remain extremely wary of anyone who says that their ideas must not be challenged. As the old adage concludes (and I believe credit here goes to Friedrich Nietzsche), "Truth doesn’t mind being questioned. A lie does not like being challenged.”

With that, I hope I've provided some food for thought.. In the struggle to preserve parental rights and protect the most vulnerable among us, namely young children, it is important that we recognize and defend truthful, correct ideas and values. We should not bow to the mob's insistance about what is right. As someone somewhere once said, "whatever is true, whatever is noble, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is admirable — if anything is excellent or praiseworthy — think about such things."

We fight against the sexualization in school of little ones and the destruction of the innocence of youth. Perhaps most importantly, we fight to ensure that the proper teaching of math, reading and writing remain at the forefront of a child's education.
The idea that it is parents who are responsible for raising, educating, and seeing to the well being of their kids, that is sacrosanct.
